How To Change Your Site's Nameservers To WPX At GoDaddy

If you have a domain at GoDaddy that you would like hosted at WPX Hosting, you will need to update its Nameservers to point to our site.

To do this, login to your GoDaddy account and go to the domain management panel:

Then click on the “Launch” button for the “Domains” section. Then you will see a list of all your domains with GoDaddy:

Then click on the dropdown arrow for the domain you would like to change Nameservers on and from that dropdown menu, choose “Set Nameservers”:

That will open the Nameservers settings window:

Here, select “Custom” if it’s not selected yet. Then you will be able to edit the servers by clicking the “Edit Nameservers” link:

If there are other Nameservers there already, then remove them and leave only two fields: (1) and (2).

In these two fields for Nameserver 1:  and Nameserver 2:, fill the nameservers.

The Nameservers can be found in the Welcome email that you recieve when the account is activated. Or in your Wordpress Hosting Dashboard:

After you are sure that you have typed in the Nameservers correctly, click on “OK” and then “Save” and you are done.

Keep in mind that the technical time for full DNS propagation is 48 hours. In some rare cases it can take up to 72 hours.

To check where a website is loading from, you can use plugins like FlagFox for Mozilla FireFox or Website IP for Google Chrome. These will show you the server's IP from which the website is loaded.

After that time, the domain/site should load content from your WPX Hosting account.
