How to subscribe/re-subscribe for PayPal payments in WPX Hosting? What you should do after Upgrading or Downgrading?

 

The subscription option allows our customers to make automatic PayPal payments, so they do not need to pay the generated invoices manually.


Choosing a subscription payment means that you will allow PayPal to make automatic future payments related to the subscription agreement. This way you will not need to worry about payments for any future generated invoices associated with it.

How to Subscribe?

When an invoice is generated in your WPX Hosting account
you can find it here:


By clicking on the link with the invoice's number you will be able to see all the details in this invoice including of its status - Paid or Unpaid.

On the right-hand side on the screen you can choose:

  • Payment method: PayPal or Credit Card.
  • To "Subscribe" or "Check out"- that is for one-off payments only.

button.



When you choose "Subscribe" you agree that the specified amount of money will be automatically taken out of your Paypal account on the same date of the month.


When the first payment is completed and the invoice is paid, the next invoice will be paid automatically on the next due date.

My invoice is generated and its status is "Unpaid" although I have an automatic payment
subscription in place?

The invoices are usually generated a few days before the due date. The subscription payments are taken from your account by Paypal on the date specified in the subscription.

In case an invoice is paid by some credit in your WPX Hosting account, the payment from the subscription will be added as funds(credit) to your account. The funds can be used to pay future invoices or can be refunded back to you if you raise a ticket with our Support Team.

How to re-subscribe?

If you already have an automatic payment subscription but you need to change it:

  • first you need to cancel the current subscription in PayPal
  • then to pay the next invoice using the “Subscribe” button again.
 
IMPORTANT!

Before Upgrading or Downgrading the hosting packages in WPX Hosting or cancelling
the service, please make sure that you cancel the subscription payment from your Paypal
account.

Failing to do so means then the payments will still be going out of your account on the specified
date till you cancel!
